my favorite musician is a.r.rahman

A. R. Rahman was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His farther r.k.shekar was a Chennai based composer and conductor for Malayalam films. Rahman lost his father at a young age and his family rented out musical equipment as a source of income. He was raised by his mother Kareema (Kashturi). He was introduced to Sufism when his younger sister fell severely sick and as per the advise of a family friend, the family would pray at a mosque and vow conversion to Islam if she got well. The prayers were answered and accordingly, he along with other members of his family then converted to Islam in the year 1989 at the age of 23 and changed his name to Rahman.

there are many songs of a.r.rahman in Tamil which he has composed and sang. My favorite song which he compose is in film Roja the song: inam maralam madham...................... which tells about the unity of India and make us feel that. Not only in Tamil he has aslo composed in many languages.

i like his composition because it make me feel as i am in that situation the first song which i mentioned above gave me a feel as an Sir Lankan. also many songs when we listen to them they make us feel. his composition is different from others which gives a pleasant mood to our mind.

i am sure it will make everyone will feel the same way which i feel. it helps me to get relax.
